To be honest may not be what a client wants to hear when discussing a tax payment, or when an honesty-based response could be deemed difficult, but without honesty, we can never do the very best for our clients. It really is our best policy and is why it's no1.

Empathy

To walk in the shoes of our clients sees us more than just their accountant. We work with empathy and in so doing we can make beneficial recommendations that supports our client’s business.

Support

We seek to ensure our clients ‘feel’ supported. For so many this one cultural point makes a huge difference to their peace of mind and allows them to focus on their business.

Efficiency

This is not always a two-way street. We need clients to be efficient and in an ideal world that would be the norm. Very often, for no real fault of their own clients come to us, sometimes with very short deadlines and need it turned around. We aim to always work Efficiently.

Knowledge

We are experts in our field. Not only that, but we also take that expertise attained through experience and distil that down into something that makes sense to our clients. It is our passion to share knowledge with clients that really helps and supports them.

Accessibility

Being accessible is more than just having an open office in Bude but it is also about language, relationship, and de-jargonising what for many is a vast and complex issue. We are often told we are the reason people use us, because we are deemed accessible, so much so you can see in through our office windows to where we sit and work.

Approachability

Tax for many is a complex affair. Alongside being accessible we are also deemed approachable. No question is stupid in our office. We are friendly, fun, professional and work at all levels of understanding and expectation.

Reliability

You need to have an accountant who is dependable and reliable. We pride ourselves on being reliable for the very reason this opening sentence states. You need to know we are here when you need us.

Patience

We work at your speed. We may encourage you at times when we are reaching a deadline to get a wriggle on, but we recognise that not everyone works in the same way, or at the same pace as we do so we understand that..

Understanding

We are always understanding. You may have perfect accounts with receipts neatly filed or you may present us with a shoe box full of crumpled receipts. As part of our empathy point we understand that not everyone works in the same way and you need us to accommodate that with understanding.

Helpfulness

We are told so often that we are really helpful. Our aim ultimately is to ensure you are looked after and things are filed, calculated and reported as they need to be and if that means for you we are helpful then yes, we are indeed helpful.
